Grow Knowledge To Advance Capabilities in Pipeline Operations
Pipeline Podcast Network Delivers Education Through Conversation
EnerACT president Russel Treat is a professional educator by nature who desires to give back to the pipeline industry. In 2000, Gas Certification Institute (GCI) introduced training on the fundamentals of gas and liquid measurement to serve the needs of oil and gas measurement professionals and their companies.
Then, seeing the rise of podcasting as a medium for providing education to a broad audience, Mr. Treat launched the Pipeliners Podcast in 2017 to cover a wider scope of pipeline industry education. After 200+ episodes, the podcast continues to provide weekly education to pipeline professionals through informative conversations with industry leaders and subject matter experts.
In 2020, one podcast turned into two podcasts. In partnership with Pipeline & Gas Journal, Mr. Treat launched the Pipeline Technology Podcast to review a magazine article with its author and deliver monthly in-depth education on the latest pipeline technology developments.
This led to the launch of a podcast network — the Pipeline Podcast Network. Since the launch of a network, a third podcast has been added covering oil and gas field measurement operations. Collectively, the network serves a critical role in advancing the industry through the delivery of valuable industry insights and the provision of training-ready material.
The Pipeline Podcast Network continues to be the leading source of shared knowledge and lessons learned for pipeline professionals to support Natural Compliance in pipeline operations. Consider this sample of guests, underwriters, and sponsors that have participated in the podcast.
